SUMMARY:Batu Caves & KL Camp5
DESCRIPTION:This event is organized by Rockerfellas Adventure Pte Ltd\nRegistration No. : 201602890H\nSTB Travel Agents’ License No. 02861 \nTHIS EVENT IS OPENED ONLY TO THOSE WHO HAVE AT LEAST A SPORT CLIMBING LEVEL 1 AND ABOVE\nSingapore National Climbing Standards (SNCS Level 1) \nREGISTER HERE!\nSo you’re certified and have been working hard perfecting your moves on artificial walls … but how will you fare on real rocks and raw heights ~ outdoors? This is the perfect trip to test your chops on pristine limestone in Malaysia’s Batu Caves crag! \nThose with Level 2 equivalency\, there’s a huge assortment of 20 – 30m routes to lead (some 5s\, loads of 6a’s and b’s). \nThose with Level 3 equivalency may try multi-pitch options\, where 2 – 5 pitch routes will take you up 78 meters and beyond. \nTop rope routes averaging 20 – 30 meters in height will be set up for those unable to lead climb. \nHave friends or loved ones who don’t climb? Ditch them! We’re kidding! They’re most welcome to come hang out\, enjoy amazing food and indulge in retail therapy. Be nice\, so that they may help take photos and videos of you in action. \n*Day One @ Batu Caves*\nGua Damai\, Batu Caves in KL Malaysia is a well maintained outdoor (with rain shelters) limestone climbing crag. It offers varied and spacious climbing located in a safe neighbourhood\, easily accessible with convenient toilet / shower facilities\, refreshment stalls\, gear rental shop\, and even a children’s playground. \nThe most famous of 8 climbing rock faces is Damai Wall or also known as the Gua Damai Extreme Park. Situated on the Northern side of Batu Caves\, Damai Wall has around 35 different routes\, many of which are graded between 5C to 6B+ with an exception of a few breaching 7. We typically climb at Batu on the first day of the trip. \nPre-plan what you want to climb at Batu Caves!\nHere’s the Route Map: https://drive.google.com/open?id=15Epdg5Iga5bj3eVQjh7T6X3IG-TZjrkK \nAs with all outdoor activities\, it is highly recommended that participants secure sufficient medical / emergency insurance coverage. If you are currently uninsured for such trips involving high risk activities\, do contact Derek@96250587 to get AIA Insurance coverage specifically for rock climbing activities. It’s just $30 for peace of mind\, coverage for 3 days 2 nights travel + trip activity protection. \nBesides climbing outdoors\, this trip will also introduce you to one of the largest climbing gyms in this part of the world ~ Camp 5. We typically visit them on the second day of the trip. As this is indoors\, Camp 5 will also serve as our back-up plan for increment weather on Day One. \n*Day Two @ Camp 5\, 1Utama Mega Shopping Mall*\nCamp 5 is Asia’s largest indoor climbing gym perched on the top floors of 1Utama\, the largest shopping complex in Malaysia. The gym features state-of-the-art climbing walls encased within a breathtaking 30m glass enclosure. There is a large top rope section for beginners\, another with auto belays\, a massive 24m lead wall\, 2 freestanding boulder blocks and a huge boulder cave with a high ball section that can be topped out onto the second floor. There’s enough routes here to challenge all levels of climbers for perpetuity. \nRoute List: https://www.theroutelist.com/locations/camp5 \nSingaporean climbers are “required” to have first hand exposure to Batu Caves and Camp 5 at least once in their climbing careers! Join us for what will be a memorable road trip out of Singapore to explore the variety of climbing options beyond our borders. \n++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ \n===========\nEvent Details\n=========== \nDate: 14/06/2019 (7:30 pm Friday) – 16/06/2019 (2359hrs Sunday) \nPick up: Woodlands Check Point (Friday) at staircase landing after passing immigration \nMeet: Friday 1900hrs \nMax group size: 40 pax (Min 12 to go)\nCost : $235 (Twin Share: we will pair you up with someone of the same gender)\, $280 (Single) – 2 nights\nRockerfellas DBS Corporate Account : 0179056055\nWhatapp your payment Details to 96250587\nRegistration No. 201602890H \nCovers : 2 way + between Batu Caves and Camp 5 \nInclude -:\nHotel for 2 nights\nDinner on one night\n2 way transports to KL and back \nNot include -:\n: Insurance (Highly Recommended) $25-$30\n: Harness\, climbing shoes\, entrance fees to camp 5\n: Personal expenses\n: All F & B & expenses not mentioned above\n: All Types Alcoholic Drinks\n: Entrance fee to Camp 5 \n***************************************************** \nSuggested Itinerary: \n*Departure* Friday \n1930hrs – Registration at pick up point@Woodlands Check Point(Friday) at staircase landing after passing immigration \n1945hrs – Transport departs. SUMMARY:Singapore National Climbing Standards (SNCS) Level 1 Certification Course
DESCRIPTION:**Our Sports Climbing Level 1 Certification is certified under Singapore National Climbing Standards (SNCS)** \nBeginners are welcome! \nWhen was the last time you truly challenged yourself or did something adventurous? \nImagine being able to climb to the top of the mountain and be met with just a jaw-dropping panaromic view of the world beneath your feet. \nCome and join us to learn the techniques of climbing. You’ll never imagine how much a difference it would make to your life! \nSports climbing is a multi-dimensional sport from a fitness point of view. It offers a holistic balance between physical exercise and mental discipline. \nSports climbing requires much more than just upper-body strength. It relies on precisely trained intricate footwork\, lower body strength\, and lean muscle mass. Although not often thought of as a common form of cardio\, ascending walls is a sure way to get your heart pumping\, similar to the way climbing stairs or jogging does. A one-hour climb session can burn well over 700 calories! \nOur instructors have been trained according to Singapore Mountaineering Federation standards\, and withhold a high regard for the safety of all participants. After this one-day course\, you will be awarded with a Sport Climbing Level One Certificate\, in accordance with the Singapore National Climbing Standards (SNCS) endorsed by the Singapore Mountaineering Federation. This activity is only open only to those 13 years of age and above. So what are you waiting for? If you can do something great for your body with an extraordinary experience\, try climbing (aka have your cake and eat it too)! Get yourself certified and in no time to come you’ll be able to join us out there on the real rock\, at Batu Caves\, Malaysia! \nSee you there! \n******************************************************\nPlease wear ¾ long pants* \nItems to bring along : \n1. Water\n2. A pair of socks\n3. Towel (Optional)\n4. Extra clothes to change after session (Optional) \nWe have our own climbing community to do weekly climb and abseil so you don’t need to worry that you don’t have kakis after the course! \nSign up here!!!

\n++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ \n===========\nEvent Details\n=========== \nDate: 26/04/2019 (7:30 pm Friday) – 28/04/2019 (2359hrs Sunday) \nPick up: Woodlands Check Point (Friday) at staircase landing after passing immigration \nMeet: Friday 1900hrs \nMax group size: 40 pax\nCost : $235 (Twin Share: we will pair you up with someone of the same gender)\, $280 (Single) – 2 nights\nRockerfellas DBS Corporate Account : 0179056055\nWhatapp your payment Details to 96250587\nRegistration No. 201602890H \nCovers : 2 way + between Batu Caves and Camp 5 \nInclude -:\nHotel for 2 nights\nDinner on one night\n2 way transports to KL and back \nNot include -:\n: Insurance (Highly Recommended) $25-$30\n: Harness\, climbing shoes\, entrance fees to camp 5\n: Personal expenses\n: All F & B & expenses not mentioned above\n: All Types Alcoholic Drinks\n: Entrance fee to Camp 5 \n***************************************************** \nSuggested Itinerary: \n*Departure* Friday \n1930hrs – Registration at pick up point@Woodlands Check Point(Friday) at staircase landing after passing immigration \n1945hrs – Transport departs.
