Sports climbing is a multi-dimensional sport from a fitness point of view. It offers a holistic balance between physical exercise and mental discipline.
Sports climbing requires much more than just upper-body strength. It relies on precisely trained intricate footwork, lower body strength, and lean muscle mass. Although not often thought of as a common form of cardio, ascending walls is a sure way to get your heart pumping, similar to the way climbing stairs or jogging does. A one-hour climb session can burn well over 700 calories!
Our instructors have been trained according to Singapore Mountaineering Federation standards, and withhold a high regard for the safety of all participants. After this one-day course, you will be awarded with a Sport Climbing Level One Certificate, in accordance with the Singapore National Climbing Standards (SNCS) endorsed by the Singapore Mountaineering Federation. This activity is only open only to those 13 years of age and above. So what are you waiting for? If you can do something great for your body with an extraordinary experience, try climbing (aka have your cake and eat it too)! Get yourself certified and in no time to come you’ll be able to join us out there on the real rock, at Batu Caves, Malaysia!
